This is a very different approach from most languages, but for teaching Latin, it is a very effective one. If you are getting back into Latin and familiar with the rudimentary concepts I would recommend starting with book 2. For beginners, book 1 is a must- I promise it's worth it. It's fun to read and easy to follow along with.
