Special Theory of Relativity for Mathematics Students ReviewThis book approaches SR by way of linear transformations between vector spaces. The usual Lorentz transformations are derived as a 'consequence' of the underlying mathematical structure. The book goes on to consider tensor product spaces, finishing with a simple look at Maxwell's Equations in tensor form. Although the physics content is fairly limited, I enjoyed the approach and the book is very clearly written , fun to work through and suitable for independent study.Special Theory of Relativity for Mathematics Students Overview
