Fundamentals of Nursing: Standards and Practice (Fundamentals of Nursing (Delaune)) ReviewI thought this book was excellent as far as these kinds of books go...I haven't read the entire thing thus far, but it has a great chapter on complementary and alternative medicine, terrific nursing alerts, nice chapter on nursing history. There's a lot here - don't drop it on your foot! These two New Orleans nurses have definitely put a lot of thought into the organization and inclusion of material into this weighty volume! Accompanying CD is nice, but I've been told by other students that the quizzes are far too simplistic compared with the ones their instructors give them. Still, this book would make a great reference for any student or nurse who needed a refresher.
