A.D.A.M. Student Atlas of Anatomy ReviewThere's not much I can say on a medical book that seems to include every body part known to man. I can say that I wish I would have had this in my collection for AP classes, that I learned a few more pieces of the human jigsaw than I knew before, and that I was impressed. The only thing I wondered was this - is this book really a beginner edition? It says it is but, when looking at the starter stuff, this thing is far more impressive.
If you need a book like this you know it and, if you question if it is worth the cost, it is.

The Kingfisher Student Atlas ReviewThe Kingfisher student atlas is a great resourse to have in the library. There are maps of Planet Earth, The world, The Poles, and each continent. Next to each map is facts about each area. Also included with the book is a CD ROM that features over 40 printable maps. This resourse would be great for kids who are writing reports.
I enjoyed looking through the book with my family. I learned to use the map key and ledgends with this book.
I would recommed this book to others. It is a very useful resource for students in grades 3-7.The Kingfisher Student Atlas Overview

Student Atlas: 5th Edition (Student Atlas (DK)) ReviewMy 6 year old (who is an advanced reader) LOVES this book! And for the most part, we love it too. I wish it had more details about certain things, but then I guess the book would be more than one book, lol! Cross referencing in the index would be nice. I had to explain why "America" wasn't listed. However, the fact that my 6 year old was using the index and table of contents speaks to how easy these books are for kids to use.
