It was extremely helpful for him because it was interesting and cut right to the chase. It doesn't blog the reader down with unnecessary information and is written in such a way that allows the reader to capture the most important details of the topic in an interesting way. I would highly recommend this book for junior high through high school. (Even if High Schoolers have another book, this book does a great job of simplifying the information so kids can remember the importance of the topic.) I have seen several textbooks that contain so much information, and the kids don't retain the information shortly after they finish the course.
